Sweet Potato & Apple Casserole

This is one of my all-time favorite dishes that I have created. It's a dish that I'll make for dinner to go with some pork chops or I'll make it around the holidays to take to parties for dessert. This is a great fall dish but can be cooked all year-round for multiple occasions. Try it as a dessert or a side and let me know what your family thinks!  Ingredients: 2-3 medium sweet potatoes 3-5 apples (I used gold delicious once and it was surprisingly good!) 1 tbs olive oil 1 tbs lemon juice 2 tbs cinnamon 1 tsp nutmeg 1 cup of walnuts/pecans --topping and optional Directions: 1. Preheat oven at 350F. Peel the sweet potato and place it in the microwave with water to steam it. Then cut it up into cubes. 2. These people usually seem incredibly warming, passionate, wear their heart on their sleeve, but when the relationship gets comfortable and you become vulnerable, that’s when Satan uses these certain people to tear you down, be little you, and make you feel less than. By using these people that you trust, he manipulates you into believing that you are a FAILURE and WORTHLESS. His goal is to break you down and question God. Why would you do this God? Why does this person hate me so much? The problem is that it’s not God, it’s Satan. He wants you to hurt, to cry, to feel like you’ve failed, to feel ‘no good’, and most importantly blame God. What if God really did care about what we eat? What if God really did care about that extra cookie or the 5 cans of pop you drink a day? Do you really need to include God in your health journey? God never intended for us to want anything more than we want him. A lot of people rely on food more than God or crave food more than they want God. Food is used for comfort, stress, rewards, depression, and happiness. So how can we really be healthy when we crave food more than we do God? When I first realized this while reading "Made to Crave" by Lysa Terkeurst, I knew I needed to make a change and include God in my health journey!  Lysa TerKeurst states, "The issue was how I felt mentally, spiritually, and physically.
