Favorite Oatmeal

I absolutely love Oatmeal, which is crazy because if you asked me five years ago, I wouldn’t touch the stuff. I had no clue what I was missing out. Oatmeal is a great lean carb that gives your body energy to do normal day activities or even more energy to workout. Carbs are great for your body, just make sure you eat the good ones, not the bad ones. I love old fashioned rolled oats, they are easy to make and turn out every time. I love my oats thick without any water or milk left in them. When you make them, you can make them runny by adding more liquid to them.  When following the Fix Portion containers, I usually use two carbs for oatmeal in the morning. It helps provide the energy needed for the day after a good workout!  Favorite Oatmeal 1 cup of old-fashioned rolled oats 2 cups of water Dash of salt to taste Optional Toppings - tbsp. of PB - tbsp. of chocolate chips - dash of cinnamon to taste - 1 cup of fruit Boil 2 cups of water in a medium sa

Women, a lot of us want to ignore a thing called honesty and what I mean by that, is that honesty wants us to bring the core of who God made us to be and bring it into the light. When we bring ourselves into the light—we see what is true whether we have been living as God wants us to or not. Sometimes honesty brings out something about us that we fear, but God calls us not to be afraid. Everyone, no matter how saved, mature or free, there are all kinds of things we fear and bottle up thinking it will protect ourselves, but really it is hindering what God has called us to be. These things that we hide about ourselves could be something that makes you special or unique, but guess what we do instead of embracing who we are? We fear rejection. Chocolate PB Energy Balls

These energy balls are the best on the go, for breakfast, or even a snack! My husband and I absolutely love these treats and how they give us a boost of energy. I personally love the quick bite of nutrition while I’m busy with life’s demands in a hectic day. I love Shakeology and how its packed with vitamins and minerals, along with all of the natural energy! This is the best snack for a fast power-up or a sweet tooth! What makes my Shakeology Energy Balls different is that I make mine without honey. Honey can be added, but I add melted coconut oil instead. For those of you that do not like coconut, the flavor is not overwhelming, nor can you really taste it, so no worries! Enjoy!!
